Keynote Speaker for Creative Arts Therapies Week at Miller Children's Hospital

I was so very honored to speak at Memorial Hospitals Miller Children’s wing for the Child LIfe Specialists breakfast during Creative Arts Therapies week.

Showing the Child Life Specialists different ways to bring horticulture to their clients. We saw applications in music, movement, physical, mental, motor, art, reading, math and many more. All of the activations were tailored to clients who were facility, room and/or bed bound.

The response was amazing and I was so very grateful to bring this to them for the enrichment of their clients.

Therapeutic Horticulture is one of the most diverse therapies. It can be used in conjunction with almost every other therapy available to expand and enrich the therapeutic experience.

Go and smell the flowers!
